Yamashita, Tsuge and Nimura advised Nippon Carbon Co Ltd. on the acquisition of 49 % of the shares in Kogo Kornmeyer Graphit GmbH.

Nippon Carbon is a Japan based company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, manufacturing and selling carbon fiber products used in aircraft construction and other industry sectors, and many other carbon related products.

Kogo is a subsidiary of Kornmeyer Carbon-Group GmbH handling the group's graphite businesses. Kornmeyer Carbon Group is a family-run group of companies with seat at Windhagen, Germany, and engages in the business of manufacturing and selling components made of graphite, CFC and carbon-based insulating materials through Kogo, among other businesses.
